Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use seenaloud.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.
Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, which also covers the requirements of EN 301 549 referenced by the European Accessibility Act.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, has a skip link and visible focus outlines.
- Pages use headings, landmarks and labelled form fields so screen readers can navigate them.
- Pages reflow to narrow phone screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Our demo video has captions, a text transcript of every description and an audio description on/off switch.
- Decorative animation stops when your system asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
The checkout and billing pages are provided by Stripe and the sign-in screen by Google, which follow their own accessibility standards. Files we generate are produced automatically and should be reviewed before you publish them.
